Delta-8 VS Delta-9

Delta-8 THC is an isomer of Delta-9. This means that there is a slight difference between their molecular structures, however, the chemical formulas are the same. In the carbon atom of Delta-9 THC, the double bond is on the 9th chain of its molecular structure. While as in Delta-8 THC, the double bond is on the 8th chain of its molecular structure. Hence the names, Delta-8 and Delta-9.

Both Delta-8 and Delta-9 produce psychoactive experiences by binding to receptors in the body's endocannabinoid system. There are various consumption methods including inhalation, oral, topicals, and sublinguals.
